Our final Toy feature for this campaign is here, remember last month was Waffle Blocks? Ava and Zoe both couldn’t wait to rip open these boxes! I hadn’t heard of Num Noms until Ava was in grade 1. She came home infatuated with Num Noms and the combo’s you can make. along with some other popular toy. I’ve given into the toy fads before. However, in the end, I have a box of toys for donation.
In Grade 2, Ava continued talking about them, which lead me to believe, these things are sticking around! Ava received a few Num Noms as birthday gifts. When it came time to try these toys out, Ava and Zoe were both bouncing off the walls with excitement.
What are Num Noms? They are cute, scented food themed characters that you can mix, match and stack with other characters to display. The new series three introduces all new menu themes like Fruits and Veggies, Marshmallows, Donuts and more.
The girls ripped into the little Num Noms Lights Mystery packs ’cause who doesn’t love a good surprise. I may have stolen one to open for myself. Both girls loved opening up the packages to find Num Noms that actually light up. There is a small button on the top that you press to turn on and off. The scented adorable Nums fit on top of the scented Noms, which light up in two colours! They retail for $7.99 each are suitable for ages 3+ and you can find them at Toys“R” Us, Sears, Loblaws, Showcase and Indigo.

To make the light up Num Nom’s, even more fun, the girls then opened the Series 3 Num Noms lunch box which comes with a variety of scented Nums and Noms that you can put over the light up Num Noms. The girls spent hours mixing and matching the light up Num Noms. Creating different combo’s, trading and smelling all the delicious scents. The Lunch Box set comes with 10 scented Nums, One scented eraser Nom, One scented stamp Nom and One collectors menu. It retails for $29.99 and is available for purchase at Toys“R” Us, Loblaws, Amazon.ca.

The girls very part was the Num Noms Lights Freezie, Pop Maker. They’re so easy to make, simply mix flavor packets with water, pour into the mold and place in the freezer for a delicious treat. One of my favourite parts about this is the recipe book that it comes with as it includes some recipes beyond the powder mix which means we will be using this for a while! You can purchase these for $34.99 at Toys“R”Us and Red Apple.

Ava has a soft spot for stuffies and this Num Noms Surprise in a Jar won over her heart. Zoe was deeply amused by all the toys and the scents. Ava gravitated to the Surprise in a jar as it brings scent to the world of plush characters! The Surprise in Jar comes with one plush uniquely scented character, which Ava received the cupcake and it actually smells amazing! We then used the jar as storage for all those small things Zoe should be getting her fingers into! Grab yours for $19.99 at Toys“R” Us, Showcase, Red Apple, Indigo, or Amazon.ca
