There are so many components to healthy living that goes far beyond the basics of every day. Healthy living is within us, our families and within our communities. We must get out into our neighborhood with our children and learn what resources are around us. Thanks to expos like the 4th Annual Healthy Family Expo, happening this March in Vancouver. You can get a head start on learning what is available to you and your family.
We attended the Healthy Family Expo last year in Vancouver. There was a ton of information regarding healthy food options, new activities for the girls and our entire family. Furthermore, we learned of new products available to keep healthy living a priority within our family.
The Healthy Family Expo highlights ways to get our children involved in our communities. There truly isn’t a better way to inspire than by attending the expo to experience the fun first hand. With over 200 exhibitors like Climb Base 5, Whole Foods, London Drugs and local vendors like Picnix, Sea to Sky Gondola, Earth Baby Outfitters, Heroheads Superhero Camps, and the YMCA, there is no wonder over 6,000 attendee’s are expected to attend.
The highlight of last year for us was learning of the companies like Soup Solutions and Meal Time Prep. Additionally, we also enjoyed Kidz Zone, where all the fun activities took place. This year, they are bringing in 25,000 ft. of fun times for our kids to learn all about getting outdoors and having fun! We had fun together as a family and learned about the activities in our communities that we never even knew existed.
Healthy living doesn’t need to be expensive, hard or far away. Healthy living starts within us and extends throughout our communities and into the world! What better way to inspire our kids to live healthy than by living healthy ourselves and exposing them to the opportunities that are available to us everyday!
The Healthy Family Expo has inspired my family so much so, that I am proud to be an ambassador for the 2017 Healthy Family Expo. We are looking forward to meeting new vendors and spreading the word to all of our readers. Are you involved in your community? What does your family do to live a healthy life? Are you able to get involved this year and make our world a better place?
