Three years ago, I published my first blog post! I intented to create a space for my friends and family to keep up to date with my 2nd pregnancy. It was never meant to be a “thing”. I had no idea what I was doing. This blog was to to give the loneliness a voice! I fell in love!
As a young girl, I wrote stories and then as a teenager, I wrote poetry. I always thought at some point that I would actually write a book. I never imaged becoming a blogger. Most people still don’t understand what a blogger does or how we make money. To many it seems like we sit in front of a computer and laugh at funny meme’s, and play with all our “free stuff!”
I am blessed with some pretty funny fricken peers who share some hilarious meme’s however, that’s not all it is. Our “free” stuff ALWAYS comes at a price, usually it means that I enjoy the experience with a view from behind a screen. I am so thankful for the experiences, the friends I have made, the items I have received, and the readers that I have gotten to know.
This blogging adventure, much like parenting, is easily one of the most difficult tasks I’ve willingly signed up for! To the companies who have supported me and allowed me the pleasure of working with, THANK YOU, I am hoping for many more years of working together.
To my fellow bloggers who have encouraged, inspired, pushed, motivated and helped me along this path, my heart is so full! I am so thankful for you. To my family for putting up with me not letting you eat meals until I’ve photographed them, the girls for not completely hating me for making you sit still for one “just one more photo” For always reminding me to come out from behind my screen and ENJOY the experience. My husband specifically for walking with me on this journey, for not being too annoyed when I share just a little too much info, for inspiring me with my camera and putting up with my rants.
To my blogging bestie Kat, without blogging, I would have never met you, started our company, Captured In Squares. I also may not have made it to this milestone. There has been moments in the last 8 months that I’ve wanted to throw in the towel. You’ve help keep my head above water, inspired me and pushed me to try again from another angle!
To my family for putting up with me not letting you eat meals until I’ve photographed them, the girls for not completely hating me for making you sit still for one “just one more photo” and for reminding me to come out from behind my screen and ENJOY the experience. My husband specifically for not being too annoyed when I share info about our lives, for always referring to Google when I struggle with my camera.
To my readers and loyal following, Thank you! I wouldn’t have been able to stay home with my girls or start living the life I’ve wanted without you. You’ve been behind me reading my blogs, liking and commenting on my social media. You send me messages of love and support when you know I’m struggling. Thank you!
My heart is so incredibly full. Please continue to send me messages, suggestions, questions and your love and support! I admire every one of you for sharing the way you always do and for getting “me”. I write to connect with you, to give you a safe place to fall and to know that your “crazy” is my crazy too. Don’t ever feel alone, I’m right here, just reach out!
